Message It's a slow day, and these are some things that i've been mulling over the last week or so.

From an engine performance standpoint, everyone knows that a stage 3 chip, intake and turbo back exhaust are the critical power mods. But do people really appreciate the suspension and brake mods that can be had for relatively cheap?

In preparing my 1990 Z for sale, I have returned it more or less to stock. I have Axxis Metal master pads, Stillen drilled rotors and Steel Braided lines. From a suspension stand point, I have front tension rod bushings and steering rack bushings still in. The JWT intake and a Fidanza flywheel round things out fromthe performance standpoint.

There are a few things that could quickly be done to easily improve performance.

Instead of going for the super bling front and rear Strut Tower Braces, I'd definetly go for Stillen Sway Bars. At ~$240 from Coz, they are cheaper than most stage 3 ECUs, and give great a great performance improvement for either NA's or TT's. They come with upgraded bushings and end-links. A very good buy.

From the brake perspective, an upgrade to Hawk HPS pads (even from Axxis metal masters) and a 300 Degree Brake Master Cylinder Brace go a long way. Those are the only brake components I took off of my 90 and the difference in braking is dramatic. Pedal feel and initial bite seem to be the biggest changes.

Anyone else have an underrated mod to add to the list?
